Peter can hit like a mule, which is all he needs to do in a boxing ring. I don't see why so many fans dump on the guy - he's brings some excitement to a rather moribund HW division.

Jamel Decline, that was a good one. Peter was the last man to give Wlad a tough fight, forcing him to clinch over 95 times and panic and get floored 3 times as well, losing only by 3 points on all the judges scorecards. Wlad didnt have an easy night at all, and he would have just as tough of a time if they met again.

Yes, but if you watch the fight closely as I have, Wlad would try and clinch Peter after he would land anything solid on him, I remember the one knockdown Wlad practically hugged Peter after he hurt him, Peter than Pushed Wlad off of him, and banged him on top of the head, I dont see anything wrong with that, George Foreman landed alot of Rabbit punches in his day, just ask Frazier. When your mans hurt you need to hit where ever you can, if he puts his down in the process, thats his problem.

I understand Peters technique is not the best, but young George Foreman was very similar, and noone even thought about taking points a way from him, it's a fight, not a chess match.

Agreed, I would bet on Wlad to win, but I also would have reservations on going with my boy Peter too. I have it 60/40 for Wlad, if Peter came in at around 240, I would have the fight a 50/50, that and Valuev/Peter are the fights I really want to see.

He beat an old guy with injuries who was past it and who was basically the Champ on the strength of having one guys number Rahmans. I can think of 4 or 5 other guys on that night that could have done the same thing Peter did.
