Where is the outrage over Mayol fracturing Sosa's ****ing face with a headbutt and then scoring a knockout a few seconds later with absolutely no repercussions.

I don't recall seeing too many of the people whining in this thread getting up in arms about it. Kessler needed to man the **** up and make it a fight, and he didn't. He also needs to learn to move his ****ing head.

The best part is the people acting like Ward claims to be a saint. I don't recall seeing that in any interviews. Nor do I recall Jesus making any religious proclamations regarding dirty boxing, so maybe some of you people also need to harden the **** up and realize that you're watching boxing, not curling, and that **** happens.

Cry babies lol... You 'in the closet' Kessler fans make me sick. Your boy lost long before the butts. Ward didn't need to butt Kessler to beat him so stop lying to yourselves lol... Kessler was exposed as a one dimensional 1-2 man. You know it, i know it, the boxing world knows Kessler lost, and the butts is just an excuse. You can't honestly say Ward butted Kessler on purpose lol... You can't even say it was all Ward's fault. When you have a clown like Booradley backing your argument, and his boy Pavlik punking out against Paul Williams from some fake ass hand injury, you know your man clearly lost lol...

Wow, I was hoping this was a joke thread when I saw the title.

Ward steamrolled Kessler for a variety of reasons but cheating wasn't one of them. Accidental headbutts due to the styles in the ring are not cheating. The accusations of holding and hitting and low blows are laughable. Really, some of the responses on here smack of a mix of childish hero worship and the shock of defeat. Kessler will be back strong against Froch(who I believe he will beat) and will have learned a few things from the fight and Ward deserves all the credit in the world for being the better man.

I say no. Lets look at this unbiased. He was beating Kessler all night, he was clearly faster and was having a field day countering Kessler's jab that was always too short. Kessler couldn't connect with anything meaningful all night. He was holding a bit on the inside but a lot of fighters hold a bit on the inside, how is it fair that when Hopkins or Hatton does it it's considered an art form but when Ward does it it's cheating? As for the headbutting, it's ridiculous that he would headbutt on purpose that late in the fight. Why would you intentionally headbutt a fighter you're shutting out and wait until round 10 to do it? He was leaping in with big shots because Kessler could land nothing and accidentally connected heads, it's very easy to do. Anybody who has ever boxed and fought in the inside or watches boxing, knows that headbutts are always going to be an issue. So to sum it up I say no, he wasn't cheating.

How many fights do you see holding and hitting on the break and ****? 90% of them. I saw bits and pieces of several rounds and certainly didn't see any holding rising to the level of let's say John Ruiz. The refs should clean that **** up, but if Kessler can't handle that type of stuff then he's in the wrong sport. As for the headbutts, I saw a couple of clashes that would be very difficult to say they were intentional. I didn't see the whole fight so there could be others that were intentional. I'd say intentionall and even reckless headbutting is definitely cheating on a pretty serious level. just don't know that it happened here. maybe people could post the clips of the most egregious headbuts for us to see (sorry if it's been done didn't read all posts).
