    So we agree then, that there is no proof that Terrell had improved until he started being matched with better guys. It's possible that he was better after the first loss to Williams, possible that he was better before it; there is no way to know and your earlier insistences were unreasonable for this reason.

    Yes I agree. there is no proof that Terrell had improved until he started being matched with better guys. The first better guy was Williams . he lost that. Then already having stepped up Terrell stayed at that level and amazingly turned a corner.

    We know Terrell has improved when he beats a better opponent than he ever has beaten before.


    The first part of his career Terrell had lost without stepping up.
