Did Wlad ever thank Haye for increasing his profile in the UK market?

The truth is without Haye Wlad would be a nobody. Haye handed Wlad the gift of global exposure and massive UK promotion -- the biggest PPV market in Europe.

Wlad openly disrespects Haye but I am sure when him and Bonte go over their annual numbers they both know it wouldn't be half as much if it weren't for Haye.

Wlad hates to admit it but Haye is the best thing that ever happened to his boxing career.

The best thing that happened for Wlad was Setanta going bust and the first fight falling through.

When they came to fight the second time Haye had a big name in the UK, bought a title to the table and had Sky PPV behind him. Then instead of his usual RTL money he got the split of £20million UK PPV money.

That may be so but at least Wlad had US exposure even if it was negative

Haye had one fight here i think Enzo mac on Showtime was it

he basically made his name in the pre fight with Wlad

if he didnt have a guy like Wlad to trash talk to i dont see how he would have gotten to the level he is at now

whether or not you like Wlad, he was the established guy the champ and already well known in the US, Haye needed a recognizable guy to challenge in order to get to the bigger market

I don't dispute that Wlad was the bigger name everywhere but Britain. BUT the big market for this fight was Britain. This is where the money came from and the British audience was the reason both Haye and Wlad got career high paydays.

To be honest, I think they needed each other for that fight - and I think they both know that.
