I know a few current and ex pro boxers. Jon-Lewis and Travis Dickinson being the best. I also box amateur and have fought two people who are now pro beat one lost to the other.
i seen pro boxers at my gym. when i actually used to go. like derek jefferson. and i kno ronald hearns trains there because i seen him there on tv when he was up n coming prospect but nowone was in the gym but him and his people. there was some other pro boxers at my gym but i didnt even kno there names an i dont even no they ever made it anywhere in the boxing game.
John Carr used to buy bananas in our shop. a quiet lad. but god no I don't box, certainly didn't want to get my head kicked in at Grangetown boxing club, that town is a den of thuggery. I might yet take it up in one of these softer Southern clubs though.
