Did you see a robbery in the scoring of Pacman-JMM II?

A robbery is an obvious win for one fighter either being scored a draw or given to the other guy. Chavez Sr. vs Whitaker is on obvious robbery, Ali vs Norton III, Trinidad vs DLH, Mosley vs Mosley II and the examples are endless.

This is a close fight that could have gone either way, hardly a robbery or a one-sided fight for either guy. If you scored it for Marquez then it's okay, if you scored it for Pacquiao then it's okay. The final result should be respected in the end when a fight is very close.

"Convinging"? There's no need to convince anyone who won the fight since by ALL accounts it's a "W" for PAC...

"Convinging" would be that JMM actually deserved the Bogus DRAW he recvd fighting PAC in their 1st encounter. I saw two wins over JMM with his 2 fights with PAC.

The judge who was replaced was actually family friend of Roach. And Roach was the one himself who informed the commission of this fact because of possible bias for (as opposed to against)his fighter.

This judge was actually interviewed few days later and had he been a judge in that fight, he scored it for Pac in a very close fashion.

Now I do not get the part of the robbery in your logic.

no roberry. those who are crying robberies are those who had money on marquez, his loyal fans and/or those who have a track record of hate on pac. you can clearly see that on who voted for the robbery option in the poll.

i remember the first couple of days after the fight that some people here, are going ballistics and whining to the high heavens of robbery as if they feel that jmm was battering pac from pillar to posts.

that means you gave all the close rounds to marquez even the first round which all 3 judges gave to pac. jmm only landed one solid right hand in that entire round while pac clearly landed about 4 of his punches on marquez, w/ pac being the much busier fighter.

that means pac won 1,3 [10-8],4,9,10 and i also gave him the 11th (close round) due to more activity, agression and more punches landed. jmm won 2,5,6,7 (close round),8 and 12. that's 6-6 w/ the KD being the difference. i've already re-watched this fight 5 times and i scored it the very same way everytime just like the first time i watched it.

I voted no because it was a very close fight that I personally scored for Marquez.

The word `robbery` has been over-used ever since Hagler cried after the Leonard fight, oddly enough in another close fight that shouldnt have had contraversy.

There are more legitimate bad decisions like DLH/Mosely II & Morales/Barrera II of recent yrs that happened, those were bad decisions, way worse than Pac/JMM II.
