Did you think Holmes had a chance against Mccall?

And if so....
Do you think he would have beaten Bruno In September 95 had he beaten Mccall?

 

Man, thinking about a mid 40's Larry Holmes fighting Frank Bruno is one of the oddest "could have" matches that I can think of. What a bizarre match up.

Mercer also unloaded plenty of hard shots to the elusive and thick head of comeback Larry Holmes... He had quite the combination of chin, will, a clear mind under heavy fire, and skill.

 

I actually gave Holmes a decent chance of pulling this one off. I expected a similar outcome to Holmes V mercer, with Larry getting a clear decision. When all said and done, Holmes wasn't that far off from actually winning. If he'd have beaten mccall and faced Bruno, then I'd predict a close win for Frank but a tough hard fight for both guys.
