Personally I'd say Orlando beats Zarate. His granite chin would keep him in good stead against the powerful punching Zarate, and I feel he's a more complete fighter with better stamina. To the topic - I'd don't know anything about Batista, but the destruction wrought could have taken it's toll on him as much mentally and emotionally as physically. It's difficult to come to a conclusion without knowing about the fighter's psyche and his out-of-the-ring activites. For all we know he could have lost complete interest in the fight game and came in looking for paydays after Zarate.
Zarate was an awesome fighter, he was sensational against Pintor and got robbed, how Pintor got the nod in that one i'll never know .... I have a fair idea it had something to do with wads of cash in brown envelopes though .... When people pay bribes is it always in 'brown' envelopes, whenever i hear stories about bribes or watch movies with bribes in its always in 'brown' envelopes. If i was paying a bribe to someone i'd make sure to place it in a white or blue envelope to throw people off the scent !
