Did Corrales have half the talent of prime Camacho Sr? Did he fight in anyway like him? Styles make fights Mark . Corrales was a very good fighter, but he had a tendency of waiting around for the recipe ( Totally unlike Camacho Sr) If he fought Ramirez the way he fought Castillo, Ramirez would stop him. That was Ramirez's wheel house , wars of attrition.
Mark, Taylor was in the hospital for a week . He suffered a fractured orbital bone, he was urinating blood, for a week, if compu box was off a punch or three. It really wouldn't matter. Chavez obviously landed a very substantial amount of hard punches to do that kind of damage. Plus , Taylor wasn't the same after that particular fight. If Chavez landed 200 hundred punches and not 250. It may have been a blessing for Taylor, anymore he may have been killed. It may have been a good thing that fight was only 12rds.
Taylor suffered a broken eye socket, broken ribs, badly busted up face, had a lot of blood pumped from his stomach, was ****ing blood for weeks and was in hospital for almost 2 weeks following the fight.
He took a beating no doubt but he won that fight it was a bad decision and he was not hit with250 punches, he landed less shots than Taylor.
Floyd wouldnt go near JCC unless he had a 35ft ring.. Bayless as ref and had Chavez wearing 18oz Winning gloves. As far as Corrales who I respected as a fighter Chavez would have given him a terrible one sided beating. He was just simply not in his league.
