Parker has not impressed me lately. Yes--he's quick and can box with some power, but he's gun shy with a shorter than average reach these days. And he tends to gas a bit late. We'll see if Parker can stand the heat Whyte is going to bring. Its a make or break fight for Parker. I favor Whyte to win.
Whyte should win by a good margin , maybe 8 rounds to 4 ? Once again Parker in wrong fight, wrong time! Barry's got him all over the place.
I think Parker beats Whyte, i think decision over a KO or TKO of any kind but im not sure, im already looking forward to this its guna be a good one i think. I just hope this ends fairly, no questionable stoppages please. I dont feel like Parker should be worried about going 12 i doubt he will be robbed on the cards its not America.
I think it will be competitive. Both have flaws as fighters that can be exploited as we've seen them struggle in the past. I think Whyte has the better offensive skills, he has the better jab and is less predictable with his offense. But Parker is the better defensive fighter with his upper body and head movement and mobility. For Parker to win he needs to get his offence going that's always been his big problem ever since stepping up to the top level, he doesn't usually have the power to impose himself and is forced to fight defensively where he struggles to let his hands go but if Chisora can hurt Whyte, Parker can too. He needs to beat Whyte to the punch and not get forced onto the back foot too much, where he is unable to mount any meaningful offense. I think Whyte can win if he is able to impose his aggressive style on Parker but Parker is better than anyone he has fought so far apart from AJ. He will likely leave Whyte hitting air a lot of the time. Parker does enough to earn a close decision.
Parker said today he's gonna have a 5 week camp. I dunno if he made a mistake but that's surely not long enough. He should have been in camp already, and if not, then start immediately.
Parker by decision probably. He's a bit of a enigma as a fighter, for me. Especially with his attributes. If I had to judge him, I would say A+ chin but probably a B- for power. It really lets him down at the top level. Whyte will probably get outworked.
Parker by wide UD, after knocking Whyte down mid rounds, and Whyte going into his shell to leave the ring without another KO loss to his record.
Both Whyte and Parker don't mess around, if fighting each other they will both overtake Wilder in strength of resume while Deontay fights his bums until he can cash out against AJ.
I see a similar outcome though I think it will be closer on the scorecards. First half of the fight Whyte is in control with his greater volume and offensive skills. But at some point he'll get caught and while Parker isn't a puncher, neither is Chisora and he had Whyte badly hurt. Once Parker has Whyte hurt, Whyte will be less aggressive and that will allow Parker to force Whyte onto the back foot and then Parker takes over in the 2nd half of the fight and wins a close decision.
