I think Whyte win win via stoppage. Browne is old and just no good. He's heavy handed but I can see Whyte boxing clever, waiting until late then ko ing Browne. He has to make a statement by stopping Browne though. Nobody with belts will care if he just wins on points, especially after that Helenius fight. The thing is though, Whyte can easily be drawn into a war and that could make a great fight. I'm looking forward to it. Just no huge, whole body spinning around wild left hooks please Dillian
As it gets closer I'm starting to change my mind a little. I still think Whyte it pish but that time out of the ring at that age can't be good for Browne. I do think he is capable of knocking Whyte out. Post AJ fight I thought his chin was solid but we've seen him hurt by lesser punchers since then and AJ hasn't proved to be a 1 punch KO type. If it's a stoppage win for Browne, it'll come before 8 rounds. I think he'll start to gas after that and there's no way he'll get the nod on the cards anyway
Where are the value bets this weekend? Going to be at the fight so planning to put a few on to make things interesting... Stuck some money on Lewis Ritson at 9/2 but sadly skybet spotted their error and voided the bet
Always go for the Brit, but really hope whyte loses as he's just a ****. Hit AJ with a punch and he thinks that makes him world class. There's a reason why he has no fans and it's because he comes across as not a nice guy, drugs cheat and not a very good boxer.
he didn't have fans after aj beat him but his fan base has grown since then, sold around 8,000 for this fight, he got got a good reception when he fought helenious.
Hope Browne ko's him, whytes gangster talk and constant references to what could happen to his opponents outside the ring are painful and irritating. That said if whyte chooses to box on the outside i think he has enough to take a wide points decision or late stoppage depending on what shape brownes in
so basically browne is old and slow and whyte is dopey and useless, but we are still all looking forward to it. if whyte actually applied himself he might be able to be half decent seeing as he is still fairly young, but thats quite unlikely, i suspect browne will catch him at some point even if he is slower and more knackered than some are suspecting. whyte is really not that good in any department, whereas browne is reasonably durable and can hit hard. he also wears eyeliner which might be either off-putting or give him some other psychological edge that i havent quite figured out yet.
Did he sell the 8000? I doubt it, could be wrong but doubt it, he had a fight pulled last year cause he didn't sell any tickets.
