I dont know why it would be staged but at the same time havent heard what the explanation for this was? As a athlete in a gruelling sport such a boxing i wouldnt put him near a ring again until it was found out what the cause was and that its not a danger in the future

Why would he wait until the cameras were on him in the dressing room? If he was intent on pulling out for no genuine reason, why wouldn't he have claimed to have collapsed in his hotel room before going to the venue? It does look a bit dodgy but how many other people have you seen just collapse for no apparent reason to compare it to?
i can confirm thats the footage that european tv was showing on sat night, i saw it at the time. dunno if they showed the collapse but certainly the aftermath if people all crowding him and 2 random boxers walking about
I don't think it was fake. His reflex in grabbing the chair suggests he was trying to keep his balance.
