Last chance saloon for Sprott. Not a great match up but at least it's gives us a chance to see if Dimitrenko is good enough to put a run together in order to get a title shot. He certainly needs to improve but is still young enough to do that.

wouldn't call it last chance Saloon. Sprott has always been a top level journeyman

I suppose he's had enough sparring against the superior Klitschko to some what prepare him. He has the Eddie Chambers template of how to beat Dimitrenko as well, a fighter that isn't that different from him style wise.

that sparring really doesn't help Sprott. He is basically a punch bag designed to keep the Klitsckos fit. and he is nothing like eddie chambers.

Sprott is somebody who's known to pull out a shock.

He's got good victories against Audley and Cengiz Coc, a undeserved win against Danny Williams, but he's more known for stinking the place out against the likes of Corey Sanders, where i personally think he took a dive, and against Skelton, where he should have taken one to spare us.

Sprott is always one win away from a title **** at this level just because of the opposition he takes. Best of luck to him, hopefully he can pull it off and is any one else always surprised at his age?

what exactly is a gatekeeper and what should they do?

In my mind Sprott has become not just a journeyman but what I consider a gatekeeper to be.

Great to have on your record and performance wise you'll get to see exactly where you are at.
