tie I think Abraham gets to the body early enough to wear him down and then KO him. Dirrell better get more active if he wants to win, he better put some rounds in the bank early and throwing 4 punches a round wont' do it.
IF it is in Germany, the German audience will buh him out of the stadium if he tries to do a running performance. It will be more embarrassing than it was in Nottingham because AA will not chase him so he will just run around somewhere on the other side of the ring while AA will look at him with his arms out to the side. BUT - I think Dirrell has learned and will not waste his abilities on such a farce of a 'fight' once again.
Like most, AA KO. The only way i envision Dirrell having a good chance is when he sees the openings, he doesn't just pot shot but really sits down on his punches with bad intentions. That way, he gets AA's respect early and maybe even hurts him. Physically, he's the most gifted fighter in this tournament. He has to use those gifts and let those hands go. Otherwise, if he just gets cute and pot shots like JT did, he'll just be ripe for AA in the later rounds as his legs slow down and AA gets to him. But Dirrell is much fresher and confident than a shot JT.
jt is the best american fighter n the super six and dirrel can beat aa. nonsense buddy. aa beats dirrell.
Great thread so far. We come back to boxing skills. AA showed that he has allot more skills than anyone gives him credit far. Take out the KO and I had it 117/111 - Abraham/Taylor. If Taylor was outclassing Froch, which he was. But was getting out boxed by AA. Well that doesn't look good for Dirrel since Froch was landing on him. The AA Vs Taylor fight was a good fight. The Froch Vs Dirrel fight wasn't. So I just hope that he doesn't do a repeat and run. Same for Ward. I don't care if they win or loose. But how they present themselves.
It will be very hard to win for Dirrell, but he would need to do stick and move. Throw on the backfoot, and like against Froch, he would need to avoid being in the pocket. In essence he would have to fight smart from the get go, and try to win it on points, utilizing his size and speed. It will be very hard for him to get past AAs turtle defence, and he needs to have much better footwork - and a much better defence overall would be doing wonders, so he doesn't have to rely on athletism and speed for D. But AA-Dirrell KO 7, unless he works on those areas mentioned, and keeps to the gameplan to the letter. At this point, as shown against Froch, he lacks experience at this level.
