    Dirrell would humiliate him.

:huh I always found predicting a stoppage on cuts to be a really weird guess...

To add to everything you already said here, I believe that Dirrell actually hits a bit harder than Martinez, despite being faster and more mobile (when he wants to be). Dirrell can crack when he sits down on his shots and commits. The recent Cunningham win has zero to do with that fact -- previous fights in Andre's career prove it.

The mental aspect is what makes the Pavlik-Dirrell fight interesting. Which Dirrell shows up for that fight? We would only know if it were to happen. But right now, it seems it's just a hypothetical "what if" scenario.

I was looking again at the Martinez fight, were his sharp fast punches caused cuts under both of Pavliks eyes. Dirrell punches harder and sharper, and whatever you say about Pavlik, the man does have a solid chin, if Pav gets stopped; it'd be on cuts.

Dirrell by a cringeworthy late TKO

Pavlik has been on the booze too much and should now consider his career over until he sobers up and even then his best hope is to be an American gatekeeper for upcoming prospects.

Dirrel punches harder than people give him credit for, he just holds and bitches so much its rare for him to get a KO, but with Pavlik in his current condition dirrell showboats and beats down on Pavlik until the ref jumps in to wave it off.

This fight is not what I would like to see next for Andre, Id prefer him to take on Jesus Gonzalez or Alfonso Lopez next to gain some stature as a top SMW and then go after an Abraham rematch to erase the "SHAWHI" incident which would open up more fights such as :

    Carl Froch Rematch
    Mikkel Kessler
    Lucien Bute
    Andre Ward
Anthony Dirrell - Yes I know they are brothers but the dirrells arent the Klitshcko's. I can see them fighting if they are both at top level unless one of them moves up to 175

Because their 2 high level fighters on the comeback trail and if it wasn't for PAVLIK getting DUI'S once a month I could see this fight happening.

Pavlik will probably end up in jail or rehab soon though

Dirrell by brutal and one sided 12 round decision... I don't see how you can have it any other way these days.

I don't think Dirrel is better than prePavlik Jermain Taylor and Pav's is still only 29. :nono

If Pavlik can get healthy, preSergio healthy, he could make a good fight of this.:good

But as of RIGHT now......your'e absolutely right.....Dirrel would likely stop him if he were to come back before 6 straight months of ZERO alcohol.:deal

all the more reason not to believe pavlik's on the comeback trail. he needs a comeback to sobriety before ever considering a comeback as a fighter. valuev vs. wlad is applicable.

Pavlik gets beat! Unless Dirrell gets tired late!

Dirrell is in great shape and could dominate super SMW division!

2007 Pavlik Whips Dirrells ass though.

It doenst matter because if Pavlik returns, it will be at MW!

Bet Pavlik really feels like a fool for not taking the Cunningham fight.

    Damn fool.
