"dirty" Danny Garcia must have had tony weeks in his pocket

I've never seen a ref stop a fight right after a guy gets rocked, mouth piece flys out of his mouth and swarmed. You usually wait until the action stops to get the new mouth piece but weeks did it when danny was wobbled. Forget about the 100+ lowblows, what was with all that holding? Also that eye damage was caused by a headbutt when they were in the clinch.

I can see why bhop likes danny so much because he is a dirty ass fighter and I bet he won't give lucas a rematch.

oh yeah and that "knock down" was also bs, he dragged lucas to the floor and tried to slam him.

He was holding an awful lot, but he threw hard before and after he held, so it seemed to get looked over. Very few refs call holding as a foul any more. Weeks took a point when he had to.

The mouthpiece situation was so-so, I think Garcia looked alright and Mats backed off.

 

Yeah, Weeks was defo looking out for Garcia, but it's really spilled milk at this point.

Even if the KD werent scored, and the swelling was recognized as coming from an "accidental butt", it wouldnt mattered b/c Danny boxed smartly, tying Lucas up every time the distance closed.

Textbook use of the clinch by Danny last night. But he was lucky it wasnt Nady in there.:think

 

Garcia landed a significant low blow in every round. I guess they want boxing to turn into a flopper sport because only when matthysse bended over in pain from a hook to the nuts (like the 15th low blow in the fight at that point) did a point get deducted. Garcia fought hard and intelligent but also did a good speed bag impression on Lucas's nuts.

 

funny thing is danny only traded with lucas the last 10 seconds and was getting lit up like a fire *******.

Let's get an unbiased ref in there next time and make things interesting

 

Before the headbutt that contributed to the eye swelling lucas was dipping EVERY left hook from garcia.

 

I feel Garcia cheated. He hit Matthysse with so many punches below the borderline, this was especially true early on in the fight when Matthysse seemed to be in control. The ref totally ignored all the low blows. I'm surprise the ref only took note when it didn't matter i.e. the last round.

Hitting below the belt seems to be a strategy adopted by team Garcia to change the momentum of the fight watch the Khan fight.

Khan was outboxing Garcia and to change the momentum Garcia hit Khan with several punches below the belt before the fight completely changed.

 

All the haters are salty today.

 

Instead of swift, would you perfer he be called "Dirty Danny Garcia"?
