Riddick Bowe, even though he achieved a lot. A very good fighter who couldve been an ATG.

Of the heavy fab4 in the 90s (Holy,Tyson,Lewis & Bowe) Bowe was potentially the most physically gifted & talented of them all.

He went from being the undisputed HW champ to an ill, broke & tragic figure.

When composing the thread, I was looking at dissapointment from the stand point of not being able to reach their potential becuase reasons outside the ring...and inside the ring....lack of training, dedication, leack of heart, mental toughness etc...many factors goes into making a great factor and a little bit of luck never hurts!!!

    Kermit Cintron

Dude was shitted on by cheaters, poor promotion, that led to a sleuth of psychological issues that mind screwed him into not caring or taking the craft seriously and losing to dudes he had the skills to beat.

I'm going to co-sign this. now people are going to go on, o he is a HOFer for sure. But he couldve achieved a lot more. Forrest beat the prime out of him. Since then he was slow, only loaded u his punches, became tentative, sort of jerky in the ring, didnt let his hands go in combinations at the range he used too ... also he stopped moving his head... or maybe he never did move his head... he used to defend by moving his hands/elbows up against hooks and stuff like that but he stopped doing it after Forrest whooped him... and he was in a funk for YEARS... only go out of it when he fought a shot Vargas. but it has been disappointing to me.
