Discovery could hijack DAZNs BT purchase

This would be a massive massive hit for DAZN

 

I subscribe to Eurosport already, for £40 a year it is mega value.

Their app is actually better than BT, Sky and DAZNs by some margin. Everything uploaded as a replay/spoiler free almost immediately after the program has finished.

I think this basically would kill DAZN in this country.

I have worked in sports TV broadcasting for many years and here the rumor has long been that the contract between DAZN and BT Sport has been signed.

Do not believe that Discovery gets anything to say in this case.

 

What do you do in broadcasting? I used to edit sports highlights until a couple of years ago

 

I do not want to write in this forum, but I have been all the way around - both as a sports commentator, program organizer, etc. Still have a large network.

To be honest Discovery buying BT Sport would be far more seamless than a purchase by DAZN- Eurosport have a presence on satellite already and their app is decent.

This sale is taking an age to do.

 

Also with their other channels they can easily put different bits on free to air. Like they did with a few BSB races this year.

The app is much better than other companies
