I agree, the ref could very easily have justified a 2-1-1 card to Evans and kept everyone happy.

Agreed i really believe he bit Butlin last night to get out of the Williams fight i really don't see the hype in him he's a average fighter and i doubt he will go far. Fury on the overhand is very impressive and he's won me as a fan love the hype he brings.

Chisora was probably right...Belshaw was soft really.

He didn't exactly sound keen to get in the ring with Fury though. He was hinting that the risk/reward ratio is not good enough as yet. I have to disagree because Fury is getting a lot of hype. Chisora didn't sound like he has heart.

Barker nicked the first on quality of punching but as I expected McD is very competitive in the round. He's strong and long armed. Definitely no Boyle/Belshaw.

Agreed, Barker looks relaxed just needs to make sure his punches with mustard on the shot to gain Mcdermott's respect and watch jumping back with hands wide against a long armed opponent.

Wow, McD is very competitive. Something about his posture and the way he throws punches reminds me of Kelly Pavlik on a much lower level. Anybody else think the same?

I think McDermott worked harder in that round and looked stronger but again Barker had the quality.

I was going to make the same observation using Margarito but I see your point.

Barker is doing the right thing against a long armed opponent throwing more then one punch and backing Mcdermott up he knows he hasn't got the best defence and looks to drop under shots or just cover up so Barkers doing well to find range and then get away without being hit smart start. Barker just needs to time his shots a lil more and he can start to break Mcdermott down.

Round 3 a much clearer round in favour of Barker. He's almost certainly 3 up.

From McDermott's point of view he's taken the punches very well and is still working. At least he can hope to take it into the late stages and hope for some success when Barker's sharpness drops.

Mcdermott is getting hit by the same shot over and over. Mcdermott tends to stand at range and wait for Barker to attack problem is Mcdermott is no counter puncher and lacks short punches.
