Just read on BBC sport web that at some point of the fight Degale tore his eardrum. What's with british fighters and their glass eardrums, first barker now degale. I think this gives me further evidence that deagle is a hard mofo. To battle through that and the numerous right hands must have been hard

The kid is overhyped we all know that. Given the opportunity someone like Paul Smith would have beaten that Polish geezer. Because he is ******'s love child he will be given opportunity after opportunity. I mean comon a European title shot after losing against your closest rival?? lol. How does that work. Anyway, he needs to dump that c**t of a trainer he has NOW and FAST if he wants any chance of making it to the top.

Wilc might not be a noted puncher but degale still took some huge shots from him so for me his chin is proven.

Degale needs to stop crossing his right hand as it makes it impossible for him to generate power in his jab, which as a southpaw should be his biggest asset!!!

What he has done in 12 fights is impressive for sure but he has not been as convincing as expected on numerous occasions.

Kessler would murder Degale at this stage, he has reached his current limit and Euro level fighters plus a rematch with Groves will allow him to continue learning and work on new things.

If things dont improve in the next couple of fights he needs to look at a new trainer as the defeat clearly taught him nothing!

since his debut degale has not seemed to have improved which is a worry, i think his trainer is an issue

If DeGale straightened his lead left he'd have more success, On the inside he needs to not trade hooks so recklessly.

Not taking **** but i think many of us could do a better job with him then Jim. I get impression Jim's scared of losing the only major name he has.

I would like to see James coming forward a bit more and forcing them into mistakes rather than waiting for the mistakes from the other fighter......Sometimes the mistakes don't come and by that time you are a lot of rounds down and need the stoppage.

I know its a bit of a cliche and said a bit too much but If I was Degale I would **** off to america and start again, I genuinely believe it's what needs to happen, One of the Mayweather brothers would be perfect IMO.

Funny you say that cos i think DeGale's half thinking about it. Tbh he gets no love here and his every move is ridiculed and every fight people want to see him fail like Audley. He be best going to the states and working with a coach who will set fundamentals down and also teach him better understanding of what to do in ring and how and why.

He said in BN he wants to go states for sparring, He sparred Simmons from Nelson's gym don't know who else but he needs top quality sparring.

I'd not go to Mayweather's though i think he needs a sound mentor someone who's calm and goes about his work without brashness.

I didn't look at it like that, your right though thinking about it again, the Mayweathers wouldn't be a good idea, Buddy Mcgirt? Whittaker possibly?

bottom line is degale shoulda had polish Pete outta there ,he had a tough fight against someone who was very limited,it save to say degale will get put to sleep the moment he fights a skillful fighter.

Not sure about Whittaker Bill he seemed to want Judah to fight like him against Khan even when it was never gonna work.
