I agree with you there. He knew Ricky was bang in trouble but he kept him going .

Its neither nelson or burns fault Beltran got mugged

Had Beltram clear by 3, absolute disgrace.

If that was Joe Gallagher saying that last night after one of his fighters got so clearly outclassed I'm sure Billy would be the first on here slating him.

I agree Ricky was a bit down, but don't necessarily agree his corner won the fight for him? I, like you, had him losing by 3 rounds, it was the judges who won him the fight surely? Bad judging makes the game look bad , hopefully Ricky regroups and comes back strong. Just my opinion of course, don't run up to Scotland to belt my chin ;-) ( I really liked that story, brilliant)

I actually thought Nelson did a good job in the corner so Burns got lucky big deal good luck to him it's a UK thing to hate on our fighters although i did always want Hatton beat:yep

Billy done nothing to keep the belt for burns, the judges are the only one's who kept the belt for him Mr Woodhouse

Be that as it may, it seems Billy is taking stick and rightfully so for defending the result as fair. What's that got to do with his culpability in the decision itself? Separate issues.

115-112 Beltran. Clear winner. Can't blame a trainer for backing his boy up, but there's no way he can believe a draw is fair.
