THE RING MUST ENFORCE MANDATORIES!! If they're ratings are really so legit and unbiased, then how is enforcing mandatories B.S. anymore?
Why SHOULDN'T they tell their champs to defend the belt against, say, a top-3 Ring-rated contender at least once a year or something?
IMO this would give their title SOOOOOO much more credibility. Now they have champions who can win the belt and from that point on can fight anyone and everyone but the best and most worthy contenders and still retain their title, which is the most blatant B.S. imaginable IMO.
The fellas at The Ring need to man up and admit that there's a flaw in their system.

Why, in your opinion, does the Ring have so much credibility?

Its ironically  that a Floyd fan posts this info regarding Ring. After all they've touted those Ring Title's that Floyd has had. Especially at 135:D

As far as Ring enforcing Manadatories? It aint that easy. Same as every other org, you have the promotional BS that must be traversed and thats far from 1,2,3.....:-(

I believe that Ring overall has had better rankings than the org's but it's credibility has come into question regarding it's ownership. It would be a different scenario if DLH wasnt fighting and promoting STILL! There's an inherent conflict of interest. It seems that no matter the organization there's always some conflict of interest's. All of which? Holds the sport back.

BTW? How come every thread is now "distinguished" this "respected" that cloumist crap? :huh :smh :smh :smh A simple cloumnist Dan Rafeal or writer Steve Kim would suffice:hey

OH YEAH! They didnt say anything about LINEAL!! That's not the same as Ring! And no Floyd wasnt LINEAL at 135.

I read what you posted and there's no mention of it the article. To help avoid MIS-INTERPRETATIONS make the EXCERPTS bigger. The way you posted it is misleading.

I guess now I must go look for more. But i'd rather NEVER visit asskiss2themax blah, blah, blah. If you wanna put it in the title? Put it in the thread.

terry norris was always always wieghing ing at around 150 or 152 at most. does that make him a welter? no he is a light middlewieght. he didnt ask for a catchwieght he just came in lighter than the other guy

just becuase you land on 175 doesnt make you a cruiser...but you can if you wanted to.

anyways i find it pretty hypocritical as gary shaw was with jeff lacy trying to get a fight with tarver for the light heavywieght strap. BUT wanted a catchwieght of somthign like 170 or 172 :patsch it comes aroudn doesnt it

It's funny, but back when RJ was in his prime as a light heavyweight, not too much was being mentioned by those same folks who are now parroting the lineage/real title rhetoric while Dariusz Michalczewski held that claim. I guess it didn't fit the agenda back then.

    There ya go reg:good

And floyd still wasnt LINEAL at 135 and Ring isnt lineal, so I stand by may statement.

Lineal doesnt necessarily mean the best. A unified lineal championship certainly does. Though the orgs do their best to prevent it and defense of it.

I never said ring was lineal. Furthermore, why do you bring Floyd into every thread that I make, even when it's not about him? For the record, I have serious issues as to Floyd's lineal status at 135.

Yup, and a ton of people feel the same way about the ABC orgs. I think that opinion has been shared here and other places. Who validates the ABC belts as being truly recognized? We do along with media. That is how the WBO became the fourth major title. And we have also, along with media, validated the Ring and Lineal titles.

As for the lineal title, when it is truly won in the ring beyond dispute (someone eliminating all the other champions or beating all the top contenders whether they had belts or not) then it should be held much higher than any ABC belt. And when someone beats that fighter, they are the man who beat the man, and so on, until someone vacates.

Well Reg if you read my original post? I find it ironic you as a Floyd fan posted a thread regarding DISREGARDING RING. Because Floyd fans have religiously(u among them in ceratin arguments) cling to PBF's Ring status. Not to mention LINEAL which many a Floyd fan doesnt even understand. We've talked about all of this in many previous "discussions".

While Ironic? I give u credit, GOOD LOOK, just dont leave parts out from the title PLEASE.
