He's terrible, hes slow, plodding, can't punch, devoid of combinations, and pressures even less than Kotelnik (Roach said it was "worrying" how Khan panicked when Kotelnik actually did pressure him)

You're a hundred percent correct about the arm punches and shitty "run forward 2-1-2-1" combos than Khan always uses, one of the main things I hate about Khan is how goofy he looks when throwing punches, especially those uppercuts. He pulls his punches as well, arm punches + pulled punches= speed Roach has been trying to teach him how to plant his feet a little and follow through

You cleary don't understand the fine-tolerances that boxers have to tune to. You can't lose 5lb by skipping lunch, certainly a boxer couldn't boxer they don't have 5lb on their frame to lose in fat. It comes off in water-weight, which leaves them dehydrated, or in extreme cases muscle, which is even worse. 5lbs is a huge amount to a boxer. So why isn't that an issue? He's still growing and filling out. What do you not understand about that? Have you seen any of his fights post-Barrera? He was pretty much gung-ho. Roach has taken him in and made him into a disciplined, text-book fighter. He's still learning the trade. Hopkins isn't textbook? Now I've heard everything. The only thing about him that isn't textbook is the Philly Shell.

They wanted Derrick Gainer.....) although I registered on the forums AFTER the fight, I always went to eastside to checkout the opinions of respected boxers and boxing fans, but I was compelled to register post here after the farce of a Barrera fight( did you check the mexican forums after that fight? they were FURIOUS) Khan is A champ, not THE champ.... he doesn't have good power, ask Gomez and Barrera the two featherweights who said "He's got no power" (Gomez was KOd in 3 of his 5 fights before Khan) blinding speed? check the punchstats for every fight hes had, Khan lands about an average of 10 percent of the punches he throws, if he throws a ten punch combo he lands about 2 of them, and they are arm punches, this is how you can outwork and out point a guy who lacks aggression and counterpunching skills no I didnt say shitty 1-2s, I said shitty 2-1s, he leads with the right... In fact, he did his 2-1-2 combo on Kotelnik and got cracked, then when he went back to the corner Roach said "Dont lead with that right hand". See these are the little things I notice when watching Boxing, what the **** do you notice?
