How would both fighters do against this new star? The winner of their fight could get a shot of his belt soon.

Based on Pirog's performance, and Dwyer's breakdown of the Pirog-Jacobs fight prior to Pirog smashing him out, it seems Pirog's incredibly well-schooled offensively and defensively, plus he can crack accurately and with great placement.

Macklin's great on the attack, but his defence leaves much to be desired. Barker's nothing special it seems, with little power either. I pick Pirog to win, but let's see how Macklin and Barker look against each other first - that'll give a better comparison.

a slaughter as to be strait both barker and macklin are good fighters, but not as good as pirog by a decent stretch. you dont deal with a top tear fighter like jacobs in that fashion unless your special' he'll take some conquering one mean russion fighting machine.

Barker would probs have a better shot just because he won't get hit as much and be able to keep him off with the jab.

I tend to think Pirog may have gone from the most under rated to the most over rated fighter on eastside after 1 fight. a more experienced fighter with a decent jab and chin should be able to outpoint him, jabocs won 3 of the 4 completed rounds.

I think he'd have to much power and speed for Barker , Macklin would be more of a 50/50 . To be honest i've never really rated Jacobs that highly a lot of his ko% is against tomato cans and i think he's actually an average puncher.

i think he has better speed and chin wise its hard to tell because he's necer been in with a real big puncher . Personally i think Macklin will stop him in 8 or 9 rounds but i could easily be wrong .

he could have won all 4 of them imo it would make no diference, as soon as pirog came out in the first, he was confident and relaxed, as soon as jacobs started to get into it, pirog went up 2 gears, dident look like he was worried about pacingt himself, pirog will be very dificult to beat. his own jab was good, had a mean reach on him as well.:good

Puncher's chance for Macklin, Barker stopped in late rounds. All based on 1 look at Pirog so obviously its pure conjecture.

Hard to predict on one fight and I never really rated Jacobs anyway and thought the fight came around to soon for him. Though id have to say Pirog.

    Other way around I think

Well I think Macklin was injured and couldn't face him, but I don't think they wanted to go down that route
