just to clear things up johnathon, that wouldn't be me. dodong is a very common filipino name. nickname for nonito's dad is dodong which could explain the reason why she may not like that dodong. ....and ms. nonito is really hated on in pacland. most don't respects her or take her seriously, nobody really cares what she has to say.
I don't know, I remember reading on the Pacland forums that people still liked Donaire even if he's a little out of touch with his roots. After all, he's friends with Pac. Attitudes toward Viloria range from indifferent to hostile (maybe a couple of fans)
I think his inconsistency is a big part of the lack of his fan base. But I'm pretty sure he won a lot of fans after his big wins over Solis and Segura. His down years were in 2006-07 - winless against Edgar Sosa and Omar Romero 2x. But he eventually avenged his loss against Romero with a TKO.
in the Philippines he's not a ppv candidate That's up to Uncle Bob to make Donaire a star. He's doing that but Donaire is in the shadows of Pac just like JMM was in the shadows of Barrera and Erik Morales. I predict we'll see Donaire in a ppv showdown vs Rigo..
