Would love to see him again. Haven't seen much and sadly that fight didn't last long enough for me to see anything but Kirkland didn't want it. Not sure how good he is yet.

Does the guy deserve to be brought back? Undoubtably yes.
Will HBO bring him back? I doubt it.

Whats up with me is that people are taking away Ishidas credit in a Bad ass KO, Kirkland was the same as always, Ishida was just a monster last night.

Taking away his credit? He got the win.

He was flooring the guy with jabs! Something is not right with Kirkland. Where people taking Danny Green's credit when they said something seems like it isn't right with RJJ?

I have never been a fan of JK as I never like his style, but nobody watching that fight can say that the guy might need some serious neurological exams. There is a big difference between low punch resistance and your brain shutting off every time you are hit.

Ishida reminds me of a young Pac the way he knocked Kirkland down three times in the first round.

Lol. This guy in no way remind me of Pacman. Hes tall as hell, skinny and it looks like he seriously depends on his short punches.

Damm right! ... Not that beating Kirkland is such a great feat imo... but hey, the guy put in his work, stepped up, and definately earned himself another shot on HBO.

[Maybe him vs Pirog in a battle of the GBP/HBO hype-job killers] lol

sure why not give him another bout on HBO but they wont

just like they let go of Pirog when he beat their man Jacobs

or Vitali when he beat Arreola

HBO will take the guy who lost badly but not the guy who made the incredible upset

Bald Head Slick is not a boxing fan.

He doesn't like Kirkland because of his style. Tell me how exactly you don't find him exciting? And what the **** do you mean by saying Ishida is 'protected?' He was basically thrown into the wolves against Kirkland. How the **** is that protected? That's the exact opposite of being protected.

i know im gonna sound crazy, yes Ishida was brought in as the opponent but he is one of the better guys Kirkland has faced being in interim title bouts and a veteran

Kirkland just got out of the joint and has fought nothing since has a new trainer and may not be the same in all honesty what better time than now to beat him

Ishida may never have beaten the top form Kirkland but he must have saw the opportunities in fighting out of jail no Ann Wolf Kirkland

Plus Kirkland fought such a vigorous comeback schedule without a break or gym time to re perfect what he may have lost in jail.

Ishida could not have picked a better moment to take the bout

Golden Boy has a tendency of punishing guys like Ishida because he lost them a significant chunk of money for shredding the script they had in place, and because of how connected they are with HBO, not giving those guys priority on the network is the way they execute it.

I'd like to see Angulo-Ishida, personally.
