Do you believe Deontay Wilder when he says he wants to be undisputed?

Sure, I believe him. I want to be undisputed heavyweight boxing champ of the world too, and just like him, I haven't done anything in the last nine years to achieve that goal and have no reasonable hope of attaining it.

Just look at Wilder's outfit! That custom tailored trench coat, coming to the UK, he looks a villain from a DC comic book ... Rorschach anyone?

How can anyone believe this was NOT scripted, pre-planned and discussed by both Wilder and Bellew. Both want a big payday, both have nothing better lined up. It makes all the sense in the world.

Wilder is flown to the UK, as a commentator in an alleged builtup as a legitimate opponent for AJ. And what does Wilder do? Stage a run-in with Bellew and call out a career LHW and CW!!! Who has no title, comes off a win over a one-legged David Haye and punches as hard as someone throwing cotton balls -- but conveniently brings about 50,000 scousers to fill an arena and 500k UK PPV. Which completely unknown Wilder would NEVER get stateside!

I think he does.. No where near as much as he says he does, I mean he doesn't stop talking about it.. But let's face the facts, guy has been pro for over 9 years with close to 40 fights and hast fought one top heavyweight.. Not one.

But I still believe he wants them fights.. But he doesn't mind fighting the likes of Andre Warzwick or however you say his name for a pretty paycheck.

I'm not talking about ratings.. Any boxer can get rated highly.. The sanctioning bodies are a business and they change thier rankings how ever they feel.

I'm talking about him fighting a legit heavyweight. Let's be honest, no one considered or considers Stiverne a threat.. He got dropped by a bum in his last fight and the odds were massively in favour of Wilder.. Infact Wilder was expected to KO him within 10. It was a surprise he didn't.

I want him to fight a legit heavyweight.. One where the winner isn't guaranteed to be Wilder by KO.

Props to him for wanting to take a fight like that in Povetkin.. And that fight fell apart with no fault of Wilder's. But after that he went back to fighting cans.. he had the option to fight Ortiz but came
    up with a lame excuse.

The part where I said ranking doesn't matter. So what, because he's ranked number 2 by ring so that makes him a threat? Lol.

Ortiz is and always has been a better fighter than Stiverne and only just managed to get #4.

Rankings matter. Stiverne was a top HW.

Wilder fights whats out there and there isn't much out there. There's not much more to it than that.

Most recently he could have unified against Wlad for the WBC - WBA (IBO lol) belts..

Why didn't they make a better offer than AJ?? Wlad would have fought Wilder he isn't scared of anyone...

See this is Wilders problem he isn't a big draw anywhere but his home town and he is acting a bit like Khan thinking he is a global powerhouse where in reality he is pretty unknown because he hasn't really fought anyone good.

Now you can do what you usually do and compare cv's but that ain't worth anything to the average casual who is going to pay the money to watch the fight.

What Wilder needs to do is realise where he sit in the scheme of things and go to the UK and bust up a few of their more well know player (Chisora, Whyte etc) then he can get some exposure and then angle for these unification fights..

    Then the $$$ will come..

Parker needs to do the same thing.

Bottom line is AJ is $$$ atm and there are far more big fights for him than unifying a few paper belts...

He chose Joshua. Thats all there is too it.

Wilder is not in the drivers seat to make these fights happen. Its not hard to understand.

Stiverne was a top heavyweight according only to his ranking.. He was never a top heavyweight according to his talent or boxing prowess.. Like I said, Wilder was expected to snatch the title off him by way of KO.. No one thought that fight was a close match up.. Not the bookies and not a single journalist.. Wilder has never been in a fight that was 50/50 or even considered a threat.

Well why is he calling out like he is when he know he brings nothing to the table other than a paper belt.

More importantly why are you defending him because of it when you know this is the case..

I actually think he is on the right path if he fight Bellow as it will give him some exposure in the UK with the casuals thinking Bellow is a God for tko'ing Haye..

Easy fight tbh and the casuals lap it up..
