Floyd said he didn't watch Guerrera only the berto fight. Then in his new interview he talks about Guerreras fight with casamayor.

    I've never believed it.

And I don't believe it for any elite world class fighter.

Watches, maybe. Studies? It's possible he doesn't. Remember, FMJ usually figures his opponents out gradually. Hatton, Mosley, and Ortiz are perfect examples of this.

classic Floyd- "I was watching Cotto vs Mosley and saw he was landing right hooks on him, so I thought I could use that punch. And when I saw him vs Judah, he got him with left uppercuts"

Exactly. Floyd is brilliant at ad******g in a fight, but its no surprise he gets into what is going to be his base offensive and defensive gameplan early in the fight.

    Of course he does.

It like jay z saying he never writes down his rap lyrics before he goes into the studio booth. It's a lie.

I think he watches them fight live and breaks them down from there...he is a well known fight fan who can be seen sitting front row at a lot of fights which would make him a student of the game...so no he doesnt watch tapes he's studies his opponents in the heat of the moment keeping his enemies closer.

He constantly contradicts himself by later referencing fights of opponents he is about to face.
