Absolutely, I think you’ve solved the Ryan Garcia situation along with the OJ case with that spiel.

Rules, regulations and understanding is at the top of your agenda I see.

Glad we see eye to eye; may SNAC sponsored Devin Haney keep flying the flag for clean boxers everywhere

    What’s SNAC?

Im assuming it’s not a civilian’s clenched teeth wrapped around a cling-on attached to a pube?

You can't assume that Garcia took a miniscule amount of Peds. He might have slightly mistimed his cycle and actually taken a **** ton, but only a little bit was left unprocessed. The fact that he bothered to take Peds at all suggests he wanted to take enough to make a difference.

I sort of agree with you, tho, that the defeat was so comprehensive that I can't just wipe it off Haney's record in my own mind. I think you could argue it either way whether he's truly undefeated.

SNAC is the spin-off lovechild of renowned designer steroid cheat Victor Conte. If it makes you feel better feel free to view SNAC fighters as a Victor Conte pube wrapped around a civilians clenched teeth.

What’s your point though, some ******* is a dodgy ****er so end of conversation?

I agree with you in terms of someone is dodgy but how is it provable legally?

Garcia tested illegal regarding performance enhancing drugs. There’s a legal system in place for that regarding boxing.

Maybe we will just have to agree to disagree. In my view Haney is highly suspect due to his affiliation with SNAC, but you are right he hasn't tested positive for anything or committed any crime, so it is perfectly justifiable to view him as a clean fighter. Garcia on the other hand has tested positive; in my view he has tested positive for a miniscule amount of a drug that isn't particularly performance enhancing, but he has tested positive nonetheless so it is justifiable to consider him a dirty fighter. I guess the difference between us it that I hold official testing with a high degree of cynicism, and you are evidently more trusting of the official testing which is perfectly fine; for the good of the sport I hope you are right.

    “I hope you are right”

It’s not about being morally right or wrong.

Rules and regulations dude, that’s all that has a proper affect when it comes to these issues from a legal standpoint.

He's paper undefeated but we will never be able to forget the ass whooping a guy testing positive for traces of a weight loss drug put on him.

It becomes a matter of definitions of "defeated" as well as "won / win" and "draw."

By the usual rules of scoring, Lennox Lewis clearly defeated Evander Holyfield in their first fight, anything from 10 - 2 to 8 - 4.
And yet the judges scored it a draw. One judge even had it for Evander !
If we define "defeat" as winning by the rules of scoring, Lennox won.
If we define "defeat" as getting the judges to agree that Lennox won, then no, it was a draw.

There are lots of other gifts, robberies, errors...whatever you want to call them, in the annals of boxing.

Some are obvious but frequently denied, some are too close to actually qualify as robberies, and some are almost universally agreed upon (first Pac - Bradley bout).

By my definition of "defeated," Devin was defeated by Lomachenko.
