Of course he deserves credit it's a tough fight.
It seems to me some (British)people don't like him just cos he's an English muslim kid who's been successful so far apart from one bad loss to a columbian knockout artist.
I've heard people just say I was so glad when he got KO'd I've said why and they can't come up with any reason just "I don't like him..."
I mean where's the queue to fight that Prescott If he's such a nobody why aren't the top lightweights the 'true warriors' looking to fight him
Some think Khan has an confidence bordering on arrogance,**** there's not many boxers without that sort of belief in themselves.
Another excuse is 'The Hype'?? boxers are doing a job/sport trying to make a good living showcasing their skills,if you don't believe in their skills fine.Don't watch them.Don't pay to see them but don't blame the boxer for their promoters words

This is what I am thinking, that if he wins and sets up a fight with JMM, he will be completely taken apart. He is not at that level yet, beating and old barrera will set him up for bigger fights with guys he is not able to handle.

I give him credit, he must be confident to face the legend, past it or not. If he beat him I see a good future for him. Doubt it though.

I'd give Khan more props for fighting someone who isn't at the very end of their career. but yeah, better than another domestic nobody.

I give Kahn massive credit for fighting someone of the quality of Barrera, my hats off to the boy.

Barrera should rightly be a big favourite (despite the fight being at 135 lbs) but I think if Kahn uses his speed & lateral movement, he can outpoint Barrera.

Anything can happen in this one.

You gotta be kidding!! Are people forgetting this glass-jawed hype job got wobbled by a jab and then knocked out cold by an unknown opponent! :patsch

All Barrera has to do is tap that china chin and he'll win this fight. Barrera may be past it, but he is going up against a guy with the worst chin I've ever seen in 30 years of following the sport. This is a mismatch, alright - in Barrera's favor!

    Barrera KO 3

Props for Khan for trying to take on a big name early in his career despite MAB being past his best. I'm interested in this fight.

give him props for fighting a credible fighter?:rofl

Isn't that what he should be doing?

Regardless, his Glass Jaw is going to get shattered. MAB is going to go right at him and make that Glass Jaw shatter all over the ring.
