Do you still consider Floyd Mayweather a "cherry picker"?

I like the pluralization there.

Yes, Floyd is still a cherrypicker. He had to fight Mosley, he didn't want to. He retired when the welterweight division was stacked and used his last fight to fight a junior welter. The welter battle begins, the dust settles, Floyd returns to fight a barely-lightweight who climbs two divisions to meet him at a catchweight Floyd doesn't bother to make. Instead he pays the penalty fees to come in as a full welter, beats the **** out of the little guy, ducks the biggest challenge of his career, and then finally takes on Mosley because Mosley/Berto fell through because of a freakin' earthquake!!!:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl

If a novelist were to have written that story you would say it was unbelievable and most likely think it a comedy.

Everyone was very sour about pac-pbf falling apart. Pac was taking on a top 5 WW and PBF had Paulie or M.Hatton in mind. An earthquake happened and Berto had to pull out. There wasnt any possible way to spin a way out of a fight with Mosley at this point, like someone else said, career suicide. He was definitely forced into the fight.

That said, I think the whole cherrypicking thing is blown out of proportion anyways. DLH was a challenge, Judah was challenged before loosing to Baldo, Hatton was a challenge and he would have fought Pac had they come to an agreement. He was avoiding Mosley though, cant blame him, he loves his "0" and Mosley has the potential to break that.

He's achieved so much and he's at the stage in his career that fights are not decided for him, but he can decide the fights.. he can do what the **** he wants.

Says who? This is crap you *******s have been pulling out of your butts all day. You guys are used to it because the Pac-fairy is issuing conflicting BS all day every day.

You can't point to anything but rumor and hearsay to back up that crap so why do you keep repeating it? Why?

Because you *******s are gullible idiots. That is why you believe every excuse the Pac-fairy gives you for Pac avoiding blood testing.

All things considered, "floyd was forced...." is a very logical opinion.

    Forced by who?

He could have waited a few months and fought anyone he wanted to. He took the big fight.

Manny DUCKED and took Cotto instead of Mosely.

yep. He didn't want to fight Manny, and he wouldn't be fighting Mosley if he hadn't been forced into it. If PBF had his way, we would be waiting for his upcoming fight with Matthew Hatton right now.

It's really not. "Pressured into" is the furthest it can go. If Floyd, the biggest draw in boxing, had unknowingly signed himself into an agreement where he would have to promote, train for and take part in a mega fight with a world champion and future HOFer between March 13th and May 1st, then you may be right.
