Do you think Burns - Vasquez will happen as advertised?

I'm very pissed off with this (as I'm going).

Got £160 tickets for the event, and booked into a hotel with a couple of mates which is another £40 odd.

I need to know if this is going ahead ASAP, so I can plan what I'm doing. Knocking back the opportunity to work that weekend will cost me a couple of days wages. I'll be pissed off if that is in vain!

 

Can't say I've got much sympathy for people if this doesn't come off, British boxing "fans" don't really deserve any better to be brutally honest.

If Burns is not fighting Vasquez I am not attending.

However, has anyone dealt with getting a refund for these type of events? Will I get one if I cancel?

 

Exactly this, I think Groves has to shoulder some of the blame here. Obviously i dont blame him if he hasnt been paid etc but its not like its the first time its happened with George pulling out of a fight.
Ive seen every one of his fights and been stung plenty of times, show in liverpool, Kenny Anderson, Stieglitz in Germany etc , its cost me a shed load (not) seeing Groves fight and now this.
To be honest I always had doubts about Burns v Vasquez ever being on but I was going purely to see GG.
After being mugged off yet again I dont care who he's promoted by Im not bothering wasting my cash watching him anymore.
Dont think Matchroom were too bothered either about GG fans (and there are quite a few) being shafted here once again when they swooped for their big new signing (if of course its true, which looks very likely)
Nobody comes out of this with any credit imo. Once again fight fans have been shat on from a great height.

Do you think if Burns was on Sky Box Office, with 12k in the arena and if it was on Sky Box Office, with a US friendly start time they could get Broner over?

 

I had tickets to the last Burns show which never happened and was refused a refund. I got sent tickets for this show instead, which now looks in jeopardy too, ****ing royally pissed off.

Last time I buy a ticket for an FWP event. How hard can it be to tell the paying public whats going on.
