Indeed. I don't think anyone could keep a fight standing with Lesnar...unless Lesnar wanted it to stay standing.
Yeah he does seem to stand statically infront of his opponents looking for openings, and even though Brocks stand up is terrible, he could easily catch Cain with one shot like he did with Heath and Randy. And going for the shoot when rocked like he did with Kongo would be inadvisable as well.
Addie, just to clear up: I meant of Cain has some success standing, Lesnar will tale him down or nullify him with his sheer size against the cage. Not that he's developed stand-up to rival Cains. Not that I've been particularly impressed with Velesquezs stand-up, still a very intriguing fight but not quite as much as Jake Shields fighting in the UFC :happy Not long to go....
I'm not following boxing much at the moment to be honest. Don't even know what card is on tonight, though am really looking forward to Gonzalez/Munroe Vs Nishioka :yep
Both guys are unproven to a degree, it's a great fight though. I got Cain by UD. He will win via superior boxing and footwork and he can withstand Brock's wrestling which is overrated. I think both have very good cardio so it will be interesting, and I wouldn't be surprised if Cain hurts him standing up. He doesn't punch hard but has good accuracy and Brock was running away from punches in his last fight.
