What? No you can't. Now you are sanctioning ducking? So in essence is what you are saying is that Cotto was a known fragile fighter that Pac targeted and shouldn't get credit for!?! Then your same ilk say "Why did Mayweather fight JMM after a two year layoff?" As though Pac not taking on Mosley was somehow cool. It is so absurd, it can only come from you Gander!

What the hell are you talking about? The fight were Cotto never stood and traded? The fight where he took on natually bigger men with granite chins and determination and stopped them though maybe not in a flashy manor? Hell Forrest had no answer for Mayorga!

Prime for prime Moslely ALWAYS had problems with boxers. Worse problems if they had a jab. Mosley loses this fight at ANY stage of his career. Pac is scared to take the fight at any stage of his career. Give credit where it is due.

So going by what you *******s are saying on this thread should Pac get credit for his wins over Oscar, Hatton, and Cotto??? They were all three clearly not the fighters they were, I mean they didnt do anything so that proves they were past it, right?

I predicted a compfortable UD for Floyd with a few trying moments. I expedcted May to move and stick more though. My predicition was based mainly on Mosley's age and how he looked in recent fights beside Margarito. I chalked up his victory over Marg. to several things: 1) The beating he got from Cotto 2) Did not hear from him @ all after the Cotto fight 3) Heard he was not training well for Mosely, 4) heard he had weight issues. 5) Getting caught trying to cheat right before the fight. BTW I did pick Marg. over shane but that was before the glove loading incedent.

what the hell does Pac's victories gotta do with the thread?

He should have fought Mosley instead of Marquez after his retirement.

    a 36 and a 39 year old..Numbers don't lie.

Because the same morons making the case for Mayweather not getting credit are the same saying Pac should get credit.

Hell look at you. Pac should have fought Mosley. When he was fresh off of dismantling Margarito. Not that shell Cotto. Mosley should have fought Mayweather when he called him out after the Vargas fight. They both had other plans.

...but who has time for facts when you have Uncle Arum blowing propaganda up your butt.

Beating Shane Mosley is always an accomplishment, but the man was clearly past it. He was gassed by R3 for ****s sake. That is terrible on Shane's part. However, father time takes us all, and that was clearly what was happening to 39 year old mosley. Floyd should have fought him a long time ago considering how long he had boxed at 147.

On the upside though, Floyd was ****ing dominant for the majority of the fight, taking little and giving out a lot of punishment. He showed some surprisingly good offense as well.

He was impressive, but I don't give him full credit, the same way I don't credit Pacquiao fully over his DLH win. Shane was clearly past it which was clear as he stopped throwing on his own right after he had the advantage in round two without being able to press the momentum.

Him being ducked by either Pacquiao or Mayweather previously is not mutually exclusive to his being old- he was perceived as a risk even at 38, and when his fight with Berto came through Mayweather saved face with a fight he would not have made otherwise.

Mayweather is a great boxer, but I can't in good faith say that his win over Mosley was a fair demonstration of superiority.

No these things magically don't affect him.

Since he is obviously super human all disadvantages of blood testing are for his opponents not him.

    He big. They small.

    he deserves his due.

People said he would never fight mosley. They said he would never face a "real" welterweight. They also said he would run all night. He shut up all those critics but they just invent new excuses.

We know how old mosley was. But fact is he still was off a huge win and the man to beat at 147. Pac also declined a fight with him summer 2009. Those are the facts.

yes. a 39 year old mosley is still a great boxer. a 30 year old mosley would have won more rounds. i watched mosley-de la hoya i today and i remembered how awesome he was.

it never ends, Floyd doesn't fight Mosley he is ducking, Mayweather blows out Mosley, he fought an old man. We have seen this play out again and again and it won't stop. Floyd can beat Pacquiao, Martinez, Williams, Cintron, Berto, Bute, Dawson, and both Klitschkos in the same night and somewhere on here someone will say he is ducking David Haye.
