Do you think Pac looked a little slower in the Cotto fight?

A tad slower IMO, but for a welter that is extremely fast still.

I think the difference in speed when he was on the lower weight classes were moot because he delivers his punches with more authority and places his punches better.

 

Also pacquiao has a huge frame. Even standing next to clottey the dude as a huge head neck and shoulders and clottey is a huge WW.

 

Im not finding much in the way of good clips of the dlh fight but it does seem he was not punching quite as fast. Im not saying he wasnt hitting Cotto with every thing and from all angles just the actual speed. The above is a nice highlight vid with the best of the fight but I couldnt find much good from the dlh fight so here is round 7, let me know what you guys think

I forget what a combo throwing massacre he puts people through.

 

At the start I thought he did but then he found his rhythm and seemed to get quicker.
