Do you think Sky could make GGG v Canelo a PPV?

September 12. Could this be a standalone PPV? Would be pushing it IMO, especially at that time of night.

Maybe if Bellew can get his world title fight earlier that night they could make it a double PPV? I dunno.

On a side note what an embarrassment to boxing JCCJr was last night. Didn't even try. Might have been weight drained but even if he was, he would pin Canelo on the ropes, land a soft combo and then back up immediately. Pathetic. Amir gave it a better go than he did. I was duped into thinking Chavez had a chance because I was sure he would throw punch after punch after punch and leave it all in the ring.

Music to eh ears If aj fights pulev who casual won't know very well ,don't think speak English hard fight build up he could easily use that to double up on. TBH for me it's best fight out there can't wait for it still have a feeling canelo pull out or do the think after the Jacobs fight they think ggg in decline. I like canelo but all the am not a mw crap all catchweights but fights at 164 and could see he easy walk around 10-15 pounds more.

I was thinking about AJ on a double header PPV but Hearn on IFL said he'll probably be next out in November.

Yeah but if it's a case lose the belt or fight pulev (a guess 90 percent would fancy aj win easy ko) then fight pulev easy fight him keeps him Ppv If on with ggg canelo. (Ggg now well known over here for Brook). If Hearn says aj get a few mill more to fight pulev sept u can bet he will be. Again sky can use it as top ten contender onl lost to klitscho has beaten chisora etc. Could even throw in groves first defence on undercard or crolla vs Campbell which think a certainty to happen after Campbell on talksport

The numbers AJ does mean there's no way he's going to agree to share his ppv money with another match up as he simply doesn't have too. Right or wrong if he was fighting me Sky would have it as ppv

I think sky and BT/box nation will go for the fight but will sky push for PPV if so.

I am not so sure. I am not convinced sky believe it would do great numbers at 4am. I think more likely to be sky sports.

True moog but eh must be saying him pulev not most attractive option to public but easy fight gets mando out way also. Still will get paid well ether way should win easy against a guy not easiest sell casual (although they will play it he only ever lost to wlad and beat chisora etc ).
. Is aj so big he has be Ppv against Anyone now ??

BT on Twitter have put tweets about it which suggests they'll be covering it with boxnation.
Sky haven't put a thing on their boxing page on twitter; but there's months to go so who knows what deal could happen!
If both broadcasted it, sky wouldn't be able to go PPV. £20 ppv v a £12 or so boxnation subscription. Not certain the fight he big enough here for both to broadcast tho

I think with his commercial pulling power that is sadly the case (I say sadly as I think he can pick easy touches and it will be PPV). If Molina etc are PPV pre Klit fight imagine it now !

I don't think so, Canelo outside of Mexico isn't liked or known that well. The fight would also be on at 4-5am.

With PBF vs Pac they were both already big names in the UK.

Doubt it. Whilst both are known over here from their fights with Khan and Brook respectively,by and large Brits are not going to pay for a fight which a) doesn't involve a British fighter and b) isn't Mayweather-Pacquiao.
