All women were/are Greb fans. Greb was like the SNV or Wilt Chamberlain of his day.

Marciano, 49-0-0 against the likes of Walcott, Charles and Moore looks like **** too. But then, you should see the other guy! Ditto for Harry.

Because such pristine training footage of Greb turned up so relatively recently, I don't think we can rule out the discovery of film showing him in competition. Jacobs never found any film whatsoever of Greb, yet the training material was out there, and indeed surfaced.

Robinson-Docusen was rumored for years to exist, and indeed did surface right after Docusen's death early last year. Likewise, allegations that Greb-Walker is in wealthy private hands, and has been regularly shown in clandestine screenings, have surfaced periodically.

Will we ever see Harry in action? I can't answer that. Does such footage still exist? I suspect it does, and is indeed being properly preserved by somebody who knows the value and significance of it. Bernard Docusen and his family never released SRR-Docusen to Jacobs and Cayton, Kaplan, or anybody else through all the decades they held in in their possession. (I also strongly suspect that the entirety of Dempsey-Miske III in Benton Harbor also exists somewhere.)

excuses don't need to be made, regardless of how he looked.

greb produced results, he beat all kinds of ass, had no color line and the bottom line is winning.

but that still isn't enough for some people, after all even with thousands of eyewitnesses and film footage some people deny the holocaust.

id be much more interetsed in seeing Greb-Tunney than the walker bout as he was closer to his prime in the 1st tunney fight. Still, any fight footage would do. ive heard rumours of the walker bout being shown in theatres as well, either someone has it or its decayed and no longer exists. footage could show up at any time. Hell some people today claim that Robinson-Gavilan exists and seeing as it was so close, has not been shown to the public as promoters and fight people in higher places didnt want superstar Ray coming close to losing to a cuban, probly a rumour though.

but say 20 years from now no greb film comes foward its likely the stock films were recorded on would be close to completely gone... and that would be a terrible shame.

The complete Mazeroski home run/Pirates World Series just got uncovered in- of all places- the attic of Bing Crosby's family. The family of some famous fighter, musician or celebrity of Greb's day might have procured a copy and it lies somewhere in an attic or basement. That's always been my feeling anyway.

If these films are indeed in private hands, and have been clandestinely shown over the years, then it wouldn't be surprising if they have been transferred to newer stock, with modern technology, as the Greb training footage was (as proved by the digital counter).
