Do you think Wilder will recover and bounce back?

Bounce back from what? From not knowing how to fight?

Can he bounce back? Depends what you mean by that. If you're saying he regains his title or one of the titles at some point, I highly doubt it.

He can probably bounce back to a certain point like Charles Martin. Now you're probably asking why am I bringing Charles Martin into this. Well back in 2016 Al Haymon had 2 heavyweight titlists. He tried to unify the belts but was told no by the sanctioning bodies. So instead he decided to sacrifice Martin to the monster that was Joshua for a big pile of cash and options on Joshua and keep protecting Wilder.

I imagine that had it been Martin that was protected, allowed to cherry pick opponents and avoided dangerous mandatories like plague, then Wilder would of been fed to Joshua and been smashed to pieces.

So yeah Wilder can bounce back, get a few wins, maybe even get an eliminator for a title vs a weak Haymon heavyweight like Martin recently did. But Wilder's chances of winning a title again are on par with Martin's chances of beating AJ in a rematch.

    I read the following online:

'Under the terms of their pre-fight contract, Wilder has 30 days to activate his rematch clause from the night of the bout, and a third fight between the pair must be organised before the end of July, ensuring they will collide three times in the space of 19 months.'

Does it mean that they would have fought 3 times in 19 months?

I would have thought that organising a fight before the end of July would mean that only the fight date would be confirmed by then.

It doesn't mean the fight would have to take place by then, does it?

P.S. The swearing rule on this forum is ridiculous.

He's not off to a good start with the excuses he's making. A fighter that wants to redeem himself would be humble and open to criticism and feedback and not be delusional. The only way he can move forward is to accept the loss and realise that changes need to be made.

Sounds like what many say after a loss (excuses). Foolish to conjure up a costume as such. More foolish not to consider how long he'd have to wear it. Totally foolish to admit it.
But I do have more respect for obese people who walk around with a 130lb body saturated with 100lbs of additional fat. They do it everyday and Wilder couldn't walk with an xtra 40lbs, he totally blew David Haye's toe excuse into 2nd place.

I think a lot of people in this forum see what they want to see.
For one, Wilder did not take a prolonged beating, nor did he get layed out, so yes he can very much come back
    and be World Champion again.
Imo, Wilder beats most in the heavyweight division, just not Fury when Fury is at the top of his game mentally which he was this past Saturday.

True. we see what we choose.
But I understand. Wilder deserves to be clowned on offering an excuse as wild as his was.

To your point- A prolonged beating seemed to have been waived off by his corner. I took that as to mean they stopped the fight to prevent that (a sustained beating).

I like to think he has some good fights left in him, but understand it is difficult to refute the Wilder-haters. How can I argue on behalf of a guy that barely wins rounds? Fought guys ranked beyond 100?
I chose Wilder over Stiverne & Ortiz both times. So this is coming from a guy who respects and marvel at his power. He can come back -but he has to earn it. Aint no more Arreola's, Audleys of the world. This guy (me) thinks he has a hellatious path back to the title.
Whyte, Ruiz, Parker, Kownacki...he's got some chores to do.
Fortunate he can exercise the rubber match which means Fury could be stripped? If he refuses? Im sure Fury wants to fight AJ with all belts in tact.

Hard to envision Wilder doing anything in a 3rd fighter other than..whether the storm and look for the one shot.

I want to say no but there's probably a chance he can become what he once was again. That is an average heavyweight who once he steps in with someone legit will get whipped.

Wilder can be re-packaged and re-launched. Wreck 2 or 3 nobodies in spectacular style to get his fanbase excited again but then he will have to go in with some one who can actually fight and I can only ever see that ending badly. I see Dillian Whyte has called him out despite there being no Title involved and I'm prepared to bet that Whyte won't even get a response. Wilder has always preferred to pretend that Dillian doesn't exist.
Wilder is going to try everything to get the third fight with Fury in the hope that he could get lucky with that one big shot. At some point he will be sat down in a room, probably with Bob Arum, who will explain that even the promoters don't want the fight.
Either way, I would say he has 12 to 18 months left.

He can still KO anyone in the division if he lands.

Hes got anothrt 3-4 years where his raw athleticism will keep him near the top of the division

Doubt it. Too old to change and past athletic peak.
