Just wondered what ppl thought, Wlads style is to fight tall to protect his glass jaw with out his massive height advantage does he even win a single heavy weight title ??

With his exact current style, if everyone else was 6'7, no, he would not do as well.

He would have to tailor a style to his height. If you are shorter or around the same height as your opponent you can't just lean back. There is no reason that he wouldn't be able to clinch all the time though if he was 6 ft.1

With his same style of fighting, of course not. He fights in a way that is conducive to his physical attributes. This is like asking, if Ali was slow, would he have been champ?

but he IS 6ft7 and he DOES have a long reach so this thread is stupid. of course he has a size advantage but he's used it well. it's like saying would roy jones jr have been champion if he had poor reflexes? obviously he wouldn't have been but he DID have good reflexes. u can't criticize him just because he is dominating the hw division.

the simple answer is no. would lennox be as good if he was 6'1? probobly not either. Wlad is tallented regardless of his hight, unlike most tall fighers he knows how to use it very well, he is still very fast and probobly would be faster if he was 6'1 but he probobly would be fighting in light heavy or cruiserweight.

he wouldnt want to be HW champ if he wasnt so big anyway. Klit thrives on his height.

Doutbless he would have found another sport to showcase his obvious sporting ability, without those extra inches.

    Doesn't have the skillset.

He isn't a P4P champion at HW like Tyson was during the 80's.

If he was six inches tall I doubt it.

If he was six feet tall, he wouldn't even be a heavyweight, probably a light heavyweight or possibly cruiserweight. Unless he kept the same muscle mass then he would probably look like David Tua.
