Many people have already stated that Haymon has several non black clients. What you have to remember about Haymon is that he started out as a concert promoter. Making the transition from hip hop concert promoter to boxing manager is not easy. I doubt many non blacks were familiar with him or trusted him to manage them. Eventually he got Vernon Forrest and then Mayweather as a client. The partnership with Mayweather gave him the ultimate credibility and name recognition. Now he's able to branch outside of just the African-American community.
