Most of the biggest names and highest paid fighters in the sport have come to the US. I will agree that the trend is changing but even you can't argue that! Why go to another land for milk and honey, when you already live in the land of milk and honey. Making unfounded claims doesn't help your case either. There is no way of knowing how much money Ward would have made if he fought in Europe. Try again fool!

If I'm wrong, PLEASE explain. No one on here has been able to dispute anything I said. You just plain hate Ward, for obvious reasons. He did what many of you said he wouldn't do. He had more heart, gritt and better conditioning than your boy Kovy….just admit it.

 

Once again you just talk out your ass with nothing to back it up. Check out Ward vs Kov 2. At 1:15 of the eighth round he hurt kovi baaad with a right hand. Minus the one punch that you couldn't really see that could have "possibly" been a low blow theres no way kovi would of lasted the distance without getting knocked out or stopped.

Calzaghe fought Woodhall and Reid in England
Veit in Germany
Hopkins and Jones in America
Calzaghe also fought on the Tyson undercard in Denmark

 

I agree that the US is usually where the money is.

However Ward was never making big deals in the states because of his stale bible thumling personality.

Froch was offering better terms to fight in the UK and he wasn't interested because it meant he'd lose his protection that he became accustomed to recieving in Oakland.

 

We couldnt see, Possibly ROFLMAO I saw at least TEN blatant low blows from Ward BEFORE the cluster at the end that should have been a DQ. Only one signal from Weekes i to KEEP EM UP in round one to Ward He ihnored the rest Disgusting display

 

Look at Wards record. He only fought 8 times in or around the Oakland area. Actually Ward fought away from his Hometown more often than Froch, Calzaghe, Kessler and Hatton. I really think saying Ward was a hometown fighter is an unfair claim.

You're flip flopping! You said Oakland! So I called you out on it, then you change it to America. To me it's all nonsense, there are many fighters that have fought 90% or more of their fights in their home country. At this point, you haters are just nitpicking. It wasn't until the first Kovalev fight that all this negitivity came out concerning Ward. Here's a question, where would the Kovalev fights had taken place if not in the US?
