Does anybody actually like Paulie?

After spending the weekend in Atlantic City, I now know why he's popular there. Basically, he's just like half the population of southern New Jersey.

 

I like the tragic man.Hes so ridiculous that hes funny.

Boxing should always have its own Derek Zoolander to laugh at IMHO and as an antithesis to the many macho men in the game.

I like Maglinaggi because he never bullshits outside of the ring. I think Cotto humbled him and he really woke up to reality.

 

I love Paulie he's my favorite boxer at 140. He made a fan out of me when he fought Cotto and took a beating depsite losing 7-5 on my card.

The hatton fight should be interesting.

I would want to see him against Zab too, that would be a good fight and their styles would matchup well. Zab was 143 the weekend so he could make 140 easy too.

I started liking Paulie when he fought Cotto. The kid was getting his ass whipped, but just would not stop trying. At that time I thought Paulie might have been able to beat Cotto if he had a little more pop in his punches. In the end, he's entertaining as hell in and out of the ring.

 

Yep that's exactly what I was saying. If he had more power he probably would have beaten Cotto.

 

Well thats bollocks because on the lead up to the NGougo fight he was going to go all gangster on him barely scraped that and also against ndou he said to all the british public that he was going to show all flashy combinations that was bollocks all what was flashy was is poor mans lennox lewis hair.

 

I sorta like Paulie-he's grown on me the past few fights.

His fights haven't always been the most pleasing but he's ok.

I can't help but think PM and Hatton will be one shitty, boring, clinch infested fight.

i like paulie. and i think he can beat hatton, perfect style to beat him.. but it depends on his desire to fight. If the paulie who fought cotto comes back, he'lll beat him.
