I know people give Floyd a bad rap for the "character" he plays, but he has shown us that he has a very human side to him. I won't go into details but there are videos out there and testimonies. I honestly believe in the end he DOES care about what other people think. He does care about respect. It's just this whole "money mayweather" thing he spun has blown out of proportion, and now that he actually has the money he can look outside the box only to see half a world of haters. I like both fighters in the ring.
Yeah I like both, 2 greatest boxers out there right now. I enjoy watching Pacquiao more, and you've gotta say his media persona is infinitely more likeable than Floyd's. But yeah, the whole idea that you've gotta like 1 or the other, which so many people seem to have on this site, is ****in sad. Get a grip, you're not 12 years old anymore.
I liked Floyd a whole lot under 147 lbs. and I always scorned Larry Merchant for disrespecting him so much. He came close to calling him a coward, that old *****. Since he moved to the WW division, he has developed an overly cautious and boring to watch (for me) fighting style. To compensate, he also developed an obnoxious alter ego. Right now, I love Manny. The guy is great to watch. He even managed to make the Clottey fight mediocre. Imagine if Floyd had fought Clottey... And I don't get the whole "I don't like Manny because of his fans"-attitude. How stupid is that?! I think you have to be quite young for such a mindset.
I used to like them both. Neither of them were my favourites. Floyd's antics have piut me right off though.
inside the ring - I love them both. outside the ring - Floyd´s the most irritating punk-ass ghetto-idiot there is
Yea, I suppose so. I don't find Floyd as irritating as everyone else. He is like a pantomime villain to me
