This. Like I said previously, boxing never recovered from his retirement. It's like getting some cool toy as a child and then you never get the same quality of toys after that ... No one has ever destroyed people as viciously and as effortlessly as Tyson did in the heavyweight ranks ... The quality of entertainment isn't there anymore ... I remember there was a fight years ago now ... I think it was a Klitschko fight I can't remember clearly but they introduced former champs on the large screens and when Tyson introduced himself he got the biggest cheers from the crowd. Ali and Tyson are two who are beyond boxing at this point .... Next would probably be George Foreman ... Mayweather is far behind these guys ... I'd reckon that globally the Klitschkos are ahead of Mayweather and so are a bunch of other guys.
He got the Lewis fight after that for the unified undisputed lineal titles. And ironically again it was Tyson who was the draw for that fight, not reigning unified undisputed lineal champion Lennox Lewis who was the favorite going in. Granted he was shot to pieces but still very dangerous ... Just see how Emmanuel Steward acts in the corner with Lewis.
You are talking about something other than boxing. Anyone who knows boxing knows Mike was totally finished.
I don't take him too seriously, I enjoy listening to his views on things and his stories simply because it's good to hear what's going around In his nutt, but I don't take him serious on any world views, just like he doesn't, really. He's just chatting stoned nonsense half the time, and enjoying his life. If you don't like him it's easy enough never to clap eyes or ears on him isnt it.
