Does anyone else find this Haye situation funny?

He asked for it, now he's getting what he wants. This is great news to see Haye bring some much needed attention to the Heavyweight division. This will also attract a lot of fans to tune-in and watch Wladimir vs Povetkin.

 

Look carefully how Haye reacts when someone gets in his grill and puts pressure on him. He doesn't react very well. Everyone in the HW that knows boxing sees this about Haye. Thats why the good HWs are calling him out. Guys like Chris Arreola and Lamon Brewster would kill Haye.

Also, I've been studying Haye carefully, and he isn't as fast as you say he is. He has power for his size, I'll give him credit for that, but his hands are not faster than Wlads or Lamon Brewster or Eddie Chambers or Ibragimov or Shannon Briggs or ....

It will be fun to watch, when Haye is ready to fight someone.

 

Haye made the mistake of shooting off at the mouth about how bad the heavyweight division is. He could have made a quiet entrance and picked opponents without any criticism and worked his way to a title fight. Instead, he said the division sucks, called out Wladimir Klitschko numerous times, and basically put himself in a position where he has to fight somebody semi-respectable or else he's gonna hear about it from everyone. I guess it's just not Haye's style to do anything quietly.
