if you want to ask me about Hopkins, than go right ahead. But this thread seems to speaking of Cotto. Being that the next fight between Cotto and Pac is what alot of people are talking about.

what about the throw he did to Clottey, and to Urkal? It's almost like when he gets frustrated that bad Puerto Rican temper comes out.

how is that not an automatic 1 point deduction? This isn't the WWE

It is interesting that the TWO examples ECH 110 uses are habitual headbutters and Clottey had previously been disqualified for such.
    Great post Antwuan Maxx !!!!

Why you people insist that cotto slammed clotty down on the mat, look at the fight again you never see cotto's arm pushing clotty down. His arms are high and never changed while that incident started, stop hating.

Only when he gets hurt. Zab hurt him and Cotto landed a monster punch to Zabs nuts. Against Clottey he punched himin the back of the head and in the nuts in the same round.

Cotto isn't a dirty fighter, he's what I class as a no nonsense fighter.

If someone does try to rough him up, then yes, he gives as good as he gets, but I certainly wouldn't class him as dirty.

There are far dirtier fighters out there who get worshipped for being some of the best in the buisness, and it annoys me that if you take away the dirty tactics that these fighters employ, they wouldn't be half the fighters that they are when they fiddle. fart, butt, elbow and hug their way to victory on a routine basis. Moreover, many fans of these fighters deny that their fighters employ these tactics, yet it is clear in every single fight that they employ these dirty tactics.

I think he bends the rules every one in a blue when he gets the oppertunity to do so. I heard he head butt Paulie alot. Obvious low blows on Judah. Tossed Clottey to the floor, punched him in the back of the head also.

I noticed Cotto fights dirty if his opponent gave him some dirty shots first or he felt his opponent fought dirty...

Margarito didn't fought dirty, Margarito was very game taking Cotto's best shots so no reason for Cotto to start fighting dirty...

True classy boxers won't retaliate with dirty tactics if they get one... They will let their fists do the retaliation...
