I want to thank you for your post and sticking your neck out like that. I saw the same thing you saw. It might not be a popular view but it is intelligent opinion full of logic.
Yes thats right. I have re-watched the fight a few times and have tried to be generous to Pac. Still can't come up with a score of anything better then a draw. Doesn't matter if a fight is quite close. I had Lennox Lewis-Holyfield I 115-112, quite close but clear.
This. I had it 115-113 Pacquiao, but wouldn't of been suprised if it had gone the other way, close fight.
I like to respect everyones opinion. Just reading 2 pages in this thread you will see that a lot of people feel this fight lacked action. There were times during the fight where the crowd was booing b/c nothing was going on. If Pac did not come forward JMM would just wait patient as you said.
I've just finished watching and scoring it all again, from start to finish, in high quality, on a 50' tv. I have Sky+ too so I was able to rewind and check if certain punches landed or not. Round 1 10-9 Pacquiao Round 2 10-9 Marquez Round 3 10-9 Marquez Round 4 10-9 Marquez Round 5 10-9 Marquez Round 6 10-9 Pacquiao Round 7 10-9 Marquez Round 8 10-9 Pacquiao Round 9 10-9 Marquez Round 10 10-9 Pacquiao Round 11 10-9 Marquez Round 12 10-9 Pacquiao 115-113 Marquez. I am a Marquez fan but I scored it absolutely fairly. I can't possibly see how anyone could have Manny winning that fight. :think
brave, i'm impressed.....you know the safest thing you could have done is to just keep it to yourself.
Just rewatched 1. pac 2. jmm 3. pac 4. pac 5. jmm 6. jmm 7 jmm 8. jmm 9. pac 10. pac 11. pac 12. pac Pac 7 -5
So now punching someone repeatedly in the body and head is not aggressive whilst swinging into thin air and moving quickly side to side is?
