See you jumping in to a whole convo and just quoting one part.

We were talking about the times where the crowd was booing bc there was no action. No punches being thrown, no punches being landed.

Feel like this pretty much, I won't say Pac cheated, but I don't felt he won. I do feel they could have given him the nod fairly and had a decent argument, but the scorecards ruined that image IMO and I think that has a lot to do with why people are crying robbery.

Have a look at round 3 again. I just watched it. JMM lands 2 punches, both in last minute. Everything else is blocked or grazes Pacs shoulder. Pac hit him with a lot 1 minute in, a few more times at 2 minute mark, then a huge right with 7 seconds left + a flurry at end on jmms face = Pacs round.

Watch again and tell me what you think

Pac hit him with a lot around a minute in? If he did I didn't see it. I think you're counting punches that don't fully connect or graze. Marquez landed the uppercut-straight combo several times in this round. Solid punches, that connected well and hard. Pacquiao landed almost nothing meaningful apart from the right hook and nice straight at the end. That's how I saw it at least.

The quality is not all that good, but giving that round to Pacman hardly seems like a stretch :think

Everyone agrees it was a close fight. In a close fight where the champion is coming forward and the challenger backing off and countering, the decision often goes to the champion. Its kind of like the benefit of the doubt. Couple that with the fact that this is the challenges third shot, meaning he has had plenty of opportunity to lay it on the line and prove to everyone that he is clearly the better fighter. If he doesn't take it to the champ in the last few rounds and tear away that belt, then i'll understand it and agree when the Champion keeps his title in a very close contest. That why i think the result was right and that Pac won the fight.

    Here's how i saw it

    Round 1

It was a cagey start, both fighters were sizing each other up, but Pacquiao was more active, threw more punches and landed more, all in all it was pretty even, some could argue a draw, but I think Manny just edged it.

    10-9 Pacquiao

    Round 2

In this round Marquez countered well, timed Pacquiao's shots pretty well and landed some good shots.

    9-10 Marquez

    Round 3

Pacquiao started the round better and put the pressure on Marquez, but Marquez got back in it and made Pacquaio miss a few shots and countered well, but towards the end of the round Manny landed some big clean shots, throwing some good combo's and just done enough to win the round.

    10-9 Pacquiao

    Round 4

Pacquiao Landed the best shots in this round, Marquez came back in it towards the end, another close round but Pacquiao done enough to take the round.

    10-9 Paquiao

    Round 5

This was one of the most clearest rounds in the fight, Marquez clearly won this round, he landed some very good shots.

    9-10 Marquez

    Round 6

More of a closer round, Pacquiao landed the better shots and just edged it, could have easily been a Marquez round or a draw.

    10-9 Pacquiao

    Round 7

Marquez landed some good combo's and countered well, Pacquiao came back towards the end of the round but it wasn't enough to win it.

    9-10 Marquez

    Round 8

Very close round but I think Marquez done the better work in this round, could have scored it a draw, but gave it to Marquez in the end.

    9-10 Marquez

    Round 9

Very exciting round, some good exchanges, Pacquiao landed some good shots and slipped a few punches and all in all came out on top of this round.

    10-9 Pacquiao

    Round 10

Marquez started the round well coming out on top of a few exchanges, where there was an accidental headbutt which left Pacquiao with a cut above his eye, I feel this round was a great opportunity for Marquez to put pressure on Pacquiao, but he never for what ever reason, which allowed Pacquiao back into it and to just steal the round.

    10-9 Pacquiao

    Round 11

Very close round again, but Marquez landed more clean shots, Marquez just edged it.

    9-10 Marquez

    Round 12

Not much action in this round until the very end, where Pacquiao landed a very good combo, Marquez was far to conservative in this round as Nacho Beristain told him he was ahead which was a HUGE mistake and ultimately cost Marquez the fight, as in the other late rounds as well you could see Marquez had taken his foot off the gas.

    10-9 Pacquiao

    Final scorecard

    ..............P M
    Round 1 - 10-9
    Round 2 - 9-10
    Round 3 - 10-9
    Round 4 - 10-9
    Round 5 - 9-10
    Round 6 - 10-9
    Round 7 - 9-10
    Round 8 - 9-10
    Round 9 - 10-9
    Round 10 - 10-9
    Round 11 - 9-10
    Round 12 - 10-9

    Pacquiao - 115
    Marquez - 113

    Pacquiao - 7 Rounds
    Marquez - 5 Rounds

Well is it elbow or shoulder? You don't know because you can't see it. I watched it on a 50' tv earlier, and was pausing and rewinding to see what was landing and what wasn't. As far as I can recall they were moving his head.

The left lunge hits pacs right elbow, the right grazes pacs right shoulder. look when the clock is 1:40 - 1:32.

There were not many connecting punches in the whole round besides pacs stuff at the end.

Now watch final ten seconds of round 3 and I think we can agree Pac could get the nod.

If you keep you gloves in front of your head and somebody punch the glove
your head will be 'moving' but it is not true that somebody punched your head.
For example if you dick was moving at the same time it does not
mean that was a low blow
