    Yes, but we can't force Canelo to defend his belts. GGG will have to accept his apology and the belts and move on from there.

    or he can accept a fight with canelo at 155...whoop him and then all his problems are solved....the belt he wants and starrdom....seems like an easy fix to me

    . . .but it really isn't the middleweight belt then is it? It is something else.

    Maybe instead of fighting for they could cut cards?

    i dunno...it was the mw belt when martinez defended it against cotto wasnt it? it was the mw belt when cotto defended it against geale and canelo wasnt it? pretty sure its still the mw belt...its been defended under 160 3x in a row now...if it isnt the mw belt then why does ggg want it?

    i'd love to see you guys reactions if golovkin were to do what cotto and canelo have been. say he won the smw belt against a shot fighter, then would only defend it at 161 lbs.

    id be happy ggg at least did SOMETHING!

    cotto didnt beg for a martinez fight....martinez gave it to him..martinez didnt have to fight cotto..he wanted to......lets not act like cotto was begging for a title shot from a shot sergio...and cottos career was already certified

    but why would ggg need a catchweight for a weight class hes already tried to make two fights in? he wanted froch and chavez at 168....hes mentioned bernard...so why would he logically need a cw at 168 to win a belt...makes no sense....but if he did do that id be happy he at least did something

    like canelo needs a catch weight for mw. he simply thinks it gives him an advantage.

    so you think ggg was just maybe trying to get somewhere like a restaurant or store? and he wasnt intoxicated when he got into wades cab and offered him a fight?
