Still, a 13th round would be nice.

15 rounds means slower paced more boring fights

How the hell did you come up with that:lol: show us yer proof

Go watch Leonard/Duran 1 for 15 rounds of war or Gomez/Pintor for 14 rounds of toe 2 toe mayhem for just 2 examples out of 100's for full on battles from the 1st round:bbb

There's been far to much judging controversy with scoring over 12 as it benifits the thief in a fight & the last 3 rounds in a 15 rounder were always the championship rounds that usually settled matters clearly & for an example if Hagler had opted for 15 against Leonard then Leonard would have been KO'd before 15 but Hagler took the Leonard $$$$$$ & sold his title for 12 rounds:-(

I have thought about this for years and I have decided that I'm in favour of 12.

15 Rounds is great if you have fighters like MAB, Duran, Morales, Prior, Arguello, Ali etc in the ring. I think 15 rounds would sort the men from the boys these days.

Yep, with 12 rounds you´ve got an hour including advertising and some blabla on the fights. With 15 not.

if they brought 15 rounds back i can only imagine how many sd/ud's would turn into decisive wins for someone.

what if the thrilla in manilla was 12 rounds?

    Ali would've won a UD.

Usually I say fights would be different, of course fighters are usually going to adjust and pace themselves differently knowing how many rounds are left in the fight, but I don't see this fight being much different at all. I didn't see much pacing, it was a grueling, fast-paced encounter with both guys taking terrible punishment.

    12. I feel better about the health/condition of the fighters. Even 12 is a helluva feat, in my opinion -- it's amazing how it doesn't look tiring at all when watching it. I've never boxed before, only done martial arts, where I was taking nowhere near the punishment of a boxer, and I was shocked at how quickly sparring would exhaust me. Even a couple of rounds worth of time was really gruelling. I can't imagine how bad 12 rounds must be, when you're getting pummelled all over the place to the head and body...really quite amazing when I think of it. The fact that the old timers went 15 is just insane.
